The Dileep Laboratory at the Huffington Center on Aging, Baylor College of Medicine investigates the genomic and epigenomic drivers of brain aging and age-related neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. A particular interest is in the role of DNA damage in neurological dysfunction, including drug and radiation-induced DNA damage in cancer treatment.
We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow with training in the area of chromatin biology and/or neuroscience to investigate chromatin regulation in brain aging and neurological dysfunction. Experience with computational analysis of NGS sequencing data and/or experience with mouse models is a plus.
